Suppose you are planning to visit the Maa Kamakhya Temple of Guwahati. In that case, the most common question that comes to your mind is “How much time does it take to get a darshan of Maa Kamakhya?” or “Is there any VIP pass for Kamakhya Temple ?”. Being one of the most visited and famous temples of Guwahati, there is always a long line of queue in front of the Kamakhya temple.

Hi Akash, till yesterday bookings were open till 26th June. Today I checked 27th June bookings are showing live but no tickets are available. They simply say – pass unavailable at this time.
I read that from 22-26th June temples will be closed. That means Ambubachi Mela will happen from 27th right? So how much time we can expect if we stand in queue for the darshan? Any idea on that please share.
What time did you login to website for booking the tickets?

You can book online tickets for Kamakhya temple anytime of the day. Tickets just after Ambubachi Mela (June 27) will be difficult to get as many people have already pre-booked. You can still try to book online any other day after that.

How many days in advance online VIP ticket can be booked? I tried the drop down is max 03/07/2024. That means only one week in advance. Am I right?
yes you can book one week in advance. I think the Kamakhya authorities should extend the timeframe for booking online tickets. It will help those coming from far off places and have to plan their trip (journey tickets) in advance.

At what time VIP tickets will be released every day in online advance in one week. Please confirm
There is no fixed time for release of tickets; however, they operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. To secure a booking 7 days in advance, it’s advisable to start checking the online platform about 12 to 15 days prior. Visit the site daily until your preferred date becomes available, and be ready to book immediately. We cannot guarantee availability of confirmed tickets if you attempt to book VIP tickets 10 days before your desired date, as it all depends on demand.
What is to be done after booking tickets online? Do we have to join the line with other people to get the physical ticket in had or to verify the online ticket? Or we can directly go inside with the screenshot of the booking
