My recent visit to Kaziranga National Park presented me with an opportunity to immerse myself in Assam’s wilderness, accompanied by a memorable stay at Bora’s Homestay.
As an avid blogger with a love for exploring the natural world, I embarked on a solo expedition to Kaziranga. I stumbled upon Bora’s Homestay through a random search.
Upon reaching the homestay on a fog-laden morning, I was greeted by a cosy ambience enveloped in mist, mirroring the ethereal beauty of the surrounding forest. The warmth and hospitality of the hosts instantly made me feel at home, setting the tone for a memorable retreat.
I savoured the flavours of Asomiya Jolpaan, a delightful dish comprising poha, homemade cream, and jaggery, specially prepared by the attentive staff. With my hunger satiated, I surrendered to the serene environment, ready to let my thoughts flow onto paper.
The tranquil atmosphere of Bora’s Homestay proved to be a writer’s paradise, offering the perfect backdrop for creative expression. Despite the temptation to explore the wilderness of Kaziranga, I found solace in the comfort of my surroundings, allowing my imagination to roam freely.
As dawn broke on the following day, I embarked on a thrilling jeep safari arranged by Mr. Bora himself. As we navigated through the fog-draped landscape, anticipation mixed with excitement, hoping to catch a glimpse of the park’s iconic inhabitants.
As the sun cast its golden rays upon the green expanse, revealing the hidden treasures of the forest, I felt a sense of awe akin to stepping into the mythical realm of Rivendell. Encountering herds of elephants and catching the faint scent of tigers, I marvelled at the raw magnificence of nature.
Although my safari adventure came to an end, my sojourn at Bora’s Homestay continued for three more days, allowing me to delve deeper into my creative pursuits amidst the embrace of nature.
